Pop art portrait of Judy Garland, a name that resonates through the annals of Hollywood history like a timeless melody.

Born Frances Ethel Gumm on June 10, 1922, in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, Judy Garland was destined for stardom from an early age. Her prodigious talent was first discovered by the famed Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM) studio when she was just a teenager. It was here, under the watchful eye of visionary director Busby Berkeley, that she made her mark as a powerhouse performer in films like "For Me and My Gal" (1942) alongside Gene Kelly, displaying her ability to sing, dance, and act with an infectious charisma that endeared her to audiences.

However, it was another director, Victor Fleming, who truly catapulted Judy Garland into the stratosphere of cinematic greatness. In 1939, Fleming directed her in the timeless classic "The Wizard of Oz."
