Ginger Rogers pop art illustration.

Born Virginia Katherine McMath on July 16, 1911, in Independence, Missouri, Ginger Rogers began her journey to stardom at a young age. She took her first dance class at the age of 5, and little did the world know that this young girl would grow up to become one of the most iconic figures in the history of American cinema.

Ginger's talent for dancing was undeniable, and she quickly rose through the ranks of the vaudeville circuit. It wasn't long before she caught the eye of Hollywood producers, and in 1929, she made her film debut in "A Night in a Dormitory." But it was her partnership with the legendary Fred Astaire that would truly define her career.

Together, Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire lit up the silver screen in a series of musicals that remain classics to this day. Under the direction of some of Hollywood's finest, including Mark Sandrich, George Stevens, and H.C. Potter, they danced their way into the hearts of audiences...
