A vintage Italian movie poster of ''A King in New York'', a 1957 British comedy film written, directed, and starring the legendary Charlie Chaplin. It's a satirical and politically charged film that marked Chaplin's return to the United States after he had been exiled from the country for several decades.
The film tells the story of King Shahdov (played by Charlie Chaplin), a deposed monarch from a fictional European country who seeks refuge in New York City with his prime minister and financial advisor.
