A vintage movie poster of ''55 Days at Peking'', a historical epic film released in 1963. It was directed by Nicholas Ray and Andrew Marton and produced by Samuel Bronston. The film is set against the backdrop of the Boxer Rebellion, which occurred in China between 1899 and 1901.

Here's a brief description of the movie's plot:

The story revolves around the siege of the foreign legations in Beijing (then known as Peking) during the Boxer Rebellion. The Boxers were a Chinese secret society that opposed foreign influence and Christianity in China. As tensions escalate, a diverse group of foreign diplomats, soldiers, and civilians, including the American Major Matt Lewis (played by Charlton Heston), the British Ambassador Sir Arthur Robertson (played by David Niven), and the Russian Baroness Natalie Ivanoff (played by Ava Gardner), find themselves trapped within the legation compound.

The film depicts the harrowing 55-day siege as the Boxers, along with Chinese Imperia...
